Mission Concepcion

We've been looking forward to this, it's time to explore the missions here in San Antonio. The Spanish Missions are incredible. Built in the late 1600s after Spain colonized Mexico, and with the French encroaching in Louisiana, Spain quickly moved ahead with their plans to colonize Texas. They built five missions here to spread Christianity among the Native Americans and make them Spanish citizens.
The workmanship and the immense scale of these buildings has to be seen to be believed!
