Skidaway Island State Park

We're loving our new location! After leaving Milledgeville, Georgia, we are now set up at the State Park on Skidaway Island (just outside Savannah, GA). We are surrounded by palms and parked under centuries old Southern Oaks draped with spanish moss. So nice here!

Now THIS is a campsite! I think we could fit our last 3 campsites combined into this one.

So beautiful and peaceful here - definitely my favourite campground so far. Too bad it's for only a week.

We're not far from Savannah so went for a drive to scope out the sights. It's a hot day in Savannah...quick stop for a bite and an icy cold craft brew at Savannah's 'Distillery Restaurant'....yum!
